DR NATHAN CONNELLY – MBBS, FRACP
Dr Nathan Connelly completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 1995 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Nathan began his working career at The Austin Hospital in Heidelberg in 1996. Since then, Nathan has practiced as a specialist gastroenterologist and consultant physician, in both public and private practices.
In addition to consulting patients at his own clinic, Moonee Valley Specialist Centre, Nathan currently treats patients at Epworth Freemasons, Brunswick Private Hospital, and Warringal Private Hospital.
Dr Connelly performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, haemorrhoid banding, flexible sigmoidoscopy, capsule endoscopy and also specialises in helping patients with inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease and liver disease.
As a Consultant Physician at Moonee Valley Specialist Centre – in conjunction with his wife, Nicole’s roles as Practice Manager, nurse and educator – both Nathan and Nicole care holistically for each patient visiting their clinic.
MRS NICOLE STARBUCK-CONNELLY – Director: BN
Nicole Starbuck-Connelly completed her Bachelor of Nursing at Latrobe University in 2001 and began her career as an emergency department nurse at The Northern Hospital. Nicole then moved into a role in the operating theatre at Vaucluse Private Hospital (now known as Brunswick Private Hospital) and was promoted to Associate Nurse Unit Manager. She then spent the following 8 years working as a Nurse Educator, Graduate Nurse Program Co-ordinator and Nurse Unit Manager.
Nicole has enjoyed working as a registered nurse in both public and private hospitals throughout Melbourne.
Nicole is the Director and Practice Manager of Moonee Valley Specialist Centre. Nicole ensures that patients are a number one priority and is always looking for opportunities to improve and expand the business to ensure patient satisfaction. Nicole dedicates her energy to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of medical care and treatment support.
