Moonee Valley Specialist Centre is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Dr. Nathan Connelly and Mrs Nicole Starbuck-Connelly. Together, Nathan and Nicole have provided quality medical care and professional health services to patients since 2011.
Moonee Valley Specialist Centre is located at 1003 Mount Alexander Road, Essendon. Our clinic is easy to drive to a for our patients. Plus, we’re a short 10-minute walk from nearby Essendon North Village tram stops.
Our reception is open 9am – 5pm weekdays, however we do not offer emergency care or walk-in appointments. All specialist consultations require a referral from your GP. You’re welcome to drop in and arrange your appointment in person with our friendly reception staff.

History
Husband and wife team, Nathan Connelly and Nicole Starbuck-Connelly, began a working relationship in 2008.
A passion for optimal health, coupled with the determination to provide the best medical care and professional services for patients, inspired the formation of their private practice, Dr.NJ Connelly, in July 2011.
In March 2012, Dr. NJ Connelly & Associates moved to modern medical suites in Moonee Ponds and launched under the new name – Moonee Valley Specialist Centre. Importantly, this bought Nathan and Nicole’s vision to life: to give all patients in their care the best professional, family-orientated and friendly health service.
Nicole and Nathan pride themselves on offering a professional, friendly service and enjoy great relationships with their referring practitioners. As a team, they aim to deliver high-quality care and patient satisfaction through clear communication, thorough consultations, helpful explanations and ongoing care.
Since moving to Moonee Ponds, the practice now offers patients a pathology service through Dorevitch Pathology and access to professional associates.
Furthermore, Moonee Valley Specialist Centre offers referring practitioners an open access scope program and teleconference consultations. As Moonee Valley Specialist Centre expands it will offer enhanced holistic patient care; drawing on expertise from, and encouraging collaborations with, like-minded and complementary health practitioners.
