A tailored formula

Depending on your health needs and goals, your infusion may contain a mix of:

  • Vitamin C
  • Magnesium
  • Zinc
  • B-complex (6 different B vitamins)
  • B-12
  • Vitamin D

Your vitamin and nutrient infusion will be tailored to your needs.

Some items may be unsuitable if you have underlying health conditions or take certain medications. We usually require blood test results before giving B-12 or Vitamin D.

Vitamin C is a vital nutrient and antioxidant that plays numerous roles in the human body. While typically consumed through diet and supplements, intravenous vitamin C is administered directly into the bloodstream, allowing for higher concentrations and more rapid absorption.

Vitamin C contributes to several key physiological functions including:

  • Energy metabolism – helping to convert nutrients into energy that fuels the body.
  • Collagen production and tissue repair – critical for collagen biosynthesis, which supports the maintenance and healing of skin, tendons, ligaments and blood vessels.
  • Adrenal function – supports the production of adrenal steroids and hormones that help the body respond to stress
  • Iron absorption – enhances the absorption of iron from foods, helping prevent iron deficiency
  • Immune support – as an antioxidant, it helps reduce oxidative stress (a major factor in cellular damage) and boosts immune function. It also has antimicrobial properties, to help reduce the risk of infections.

Magnesium is a vital mineral, usually obtained through diet, that supports a wide range of physiological functions in the body. Intravenous magnesium is administered directly into the bloodstream, providing immediate effects.

Magnesium plays key roles in:

  • Energy storage and transfer – It is essential for converting food into energy and maintaining normal energy metabolism.
  • Skeletal development – magnesium is critical for bone health and development, working alongside calcium to make strong bones.
  • Nerve conduction and muscle contraction – magnesium is involved in muscle function and energy production. Replenishing magnesium levels can help reduce muscle fatigue, cramping and soreness.
  • Cardiovascular health – magnesium helps to regulate heart rhythm and can help regulate blood pressure.
  • Insomnia and sleep disorders – adequate levels of magnesium can help promote good quality sleep and manage sleep disorders such as insomnia.
  • Stress relief – magnesium is known as the ‘relaxation mineral’ due to its calming effects.

Zinc is a mineral that is important for many body functions. It is found in almost every human cell, but the body does not produce it. Zinc levels need to be replenished by sources outside the body.

Zinc helps to:

  • Improve skin – zinc is effective in treating skin conditions such as acne. It also has anti-dandruff properties.
  • Reverse inflammation – zinc is a potent antioxidant that helps neutralise free radicals, compounds responsible for triggering oxidative stress, which can lead to damage and inflammation.
  • Boost immunity – zinc promotes a strong immune system, enhancing immune responses and reducing the risk of infection.
  • Assist wound healing – zinc is frequently used to treat wounds, burns and ulcers, promoting faster healing.

The body needs B vitamins for normal metabolic function, including energy production.  Different metabolic processes need several of these B vitamins at the same time which all work in conjunction with each other.

Vitamin B deficiencies may occur because of a diet deficient in B vitamins, malnutrition, or changes to the gastrointestinal tract which slow or prevent the absorption of B vitamins (e.g. abdominal surgery or some diseases of the gastrointestinal tract).

Your body can’t produce Vitamin B12 so needs to gain enough of it from other sources, primarily your diet. Vitamin B12 can support healthy eyes, bones, hair and skin and plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells.

Vitamin D is primarily obtained through sun exposure. It helps your body absorb calcium for healthy bones, reduces inflammation and supports your metabolism, muscles and immune function.
