Iron Infusions
If you have been diagnosed with an iron deficiency, your doctor might recommend an intravenous iron infusion to bring your ferritin levels back to normal. MVS Centre can assist with this. We can also assist with pathology referrals to check your iron levels and our onsite nurse will email your results and plan. Referrals are great but pathology results within 6 months are sufficient. Liver Scan
Liver scan technology is the key to spotting early health warnings. Book for a comprehensive liver scan at our Melbourne clinic. Referrals are accepted, but not necessary. They take less than 15 minutes and our nurses will provide test results and emailed simple to understand explanations to understand your next steps, if any. Vitamin Infusions and Injections
Vitamin infusions are also available (a quick nursing phone consultation prior to this is required, but wont take long). We also offer Vitamin D and B12 injections. Colonoscopy
A colonoscopy is a relatively low-risk procedure that helps doctors diagnose serious illnesses such as bowel cancer, as well as inflamed tissues and ulcers.
Gastroscopy
A Gastroscopy uses a thin flexible tube-like instrument with a camera and light on the end (a gastroscope) to carefully examine the lining of your oesophagus, stomach and small bowel.
Capsule Endoscopy
If you are experiencing stomach or abdominal problems, your doctor may recommend an innovative procedure called ‘capsule endoscopy’.
Helicobacter Pylori Breath Testing
Patient testing for H. pylori is performed in the comfort of Moonee Valley Specialist Centre. It’s simple, accurate and non-invasive. Plus your test results are available straight away… With a valid referral and medicare card a medicare rebate is available. Open Access Endoscopy
Moonee Valley Specialist Centre offers an open access endoscopy service for GPs and their patients if suitable. Pre Procedure appointments are preferred and are arranged as telephone consultations. Some patients may be eligible for a pre procedure appointment with the nurse, you can click here if you think you are and book your nursing apppointment. You will be able to upload your referral at this time on the bookings page.

Available for all patient consultations.
An initial or review consultation with Dr Connelly or Dr Mickenbecker with a current GP Referral. Nurse Consultations are also available and no referral is required. Bookings can be made online.
